Safety And Security

This page explains the controls Angler Advice uses to protect buyers, guides, paid content, and business operations.

This is a working business template for the marketplace build. Have a qualified attorney review final legal language before taking real payments from the public.

Account Protection

Login attempts and sensitive write actions are rate-limited. Sessions use Laravel CSRF protection, secure HTTP-only cookie settings, and server-side authentication checks.

Paid Content Protection

Private coordinates, full reports, and purchased content should only be displayed to eligible purchasers, subscribers, sellers, or admins. Public listing pages only show preview content.

Business Monitoring

The system records site errors, audit logs, refund reviews, reports, payout states, tax amounts, and platform fees so the owner can spot operational issues early.

Abuse Controls

Users can report content and purchases. Admin can review reports, refund requests, messages, seller applications, and suspicious transaction states.

Infrastructure Protection

Application security headers are active. DDoS protection should be handled at the hosting/CDN layer, such as Cloudflare or Hostinger security tools, because large network attacks must be filtered before they reach Laravel.

Outdoor Safety

Users are responsible for safe boating, weather awareness, life jackets, navigation, equipment, property access, licensing, conservation rules, and compliance with all local laws. Coordinates and advice are informational only and may not reflect current hazards or restrictions.

Media And Link Security

Secure video and file delivery controls are designed to limit access to eligible users, but users must not share links, credentials, screen recordings, downloads, or other copies of paid content. Attempts to bypass security can lead to account restrictions.
