Seller Approval
Guides must apply and be approved before selling. Approval may require a complete profile, experience details, payout readiness, tax information, and agreement to platform rules.
These rules define how guides and sellers should operate on Angler Advice.
Guides must apply and be approved before selling. Approval may require a complete profile, experience details, payout readiness, tax information, and agreement to platform rules.
Sellers must publish truthful, lawful, useful content and may not upload stolen media, misleading coordinates, unsafe instructions, private land access instructions without permission, or content that violates fishing regulations.
Paid advice should be delivered through Angler Advice so access can be controlled, logged, and supported. Sellers should not pressure buyers to leave the platform to avoid fees or accountability.
The platform fee may be configured by default, seller, buyer, listing, or subscription. Seller payout amounts are calculated after platform charges, tracked taxes, refunds, disputes, and other adjustments.
Recurring reports should be posted on the promised schedule and should clearly describe locations, timing, conditions, target species, and what subscribers can expect. Repeated failure to deliver may trigger admin review.
For monthly subscriptions, a purchaser is charged for the calendar month they subscribe in and receives access to eligible reports from that same month. If the subscription remains active and paid, access continues into future monthly periods as each new period is billed. Sellers should understand that report dates control subscriber access, so monthly report posts must use accurate report dates.
Sellers are responsible for their own licenses, taxes, permits, insurance, tournament restrictions, conservation rules, and local regulations.
Sellers represent that they own or have permission to upload every photo, video, report, coordinate, map note, name, logo, brand element, and other content they provide. Sellers give Angler Advice the operational license needed to store, process, display, stream, market previews of, and deliver that content to eligible users.
Sellers are responsible for their own taxes, licenses, permits, business registrations, and required tax forms. Angler Advice may request W-9 or other tax information before payouts and may issue tax forms or reports where required.
Sellers must complete payment provider onboarding before receiving payouts. Payouts may be delayed or held for refund windows, disputes, fraud review, missing tax information, incomplete onboarding, policy violations, or payment provider restrictions.
Sellers who sell recurring reports must post according to the cadence represented on the subscription page and must use accurate report dates because paid monthly access is based on report dates. Major changes to pricing, billing schedule, cadence, or included content may require subscriber notice, admin review, or a new subscription product.
Sellers agree to cooperate with admin review of buyer reports, refund requests, disputes, missing media, inaccurate content, or safety concerns. Seller payouts may be adjusted for approved refunds, disputes, chargebacks, or policy violations.
