This is a working business template for the marketplace build. Have a qualified attorney review final legal language before taking real payments from the public.
Marketplace Role
Angler Advice provides a marketplace for fishing advice, reports, digital content, map coordinates, messages, subscriptions, and related services. Guides are independent sellers responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of the content they publish.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. We may suspend or restrict accounts involved in fraud, abuse, spam, chargeback abuse, unsafe conduct, or misuse of private fishing information.
Eligibility And Authority
Users must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If a user acts for a business, guide service, team, or organization, that user represents that they have authority to bind that organization.
Service Changes And Availability
Angler Advice may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, pricing tools, storage workflows, map tools, checkout options, or content formats as needed for operations, security, compliance, or business reasons. Internet access, device compatibility, and third party services can affect availability.
Purchases And Digital Access
Paid tips, coordinates, reports, and videos are digital products. Access is granted to the purchasing account and may not be resold, reposted, scraped, shared publicly, or redistributed outside Angler Advice without permission.
Limited License To Purchased Content
A purchase or subscription gives the buyer a limited personal right to view the unlocked content in their own account. Buyers may not resell, repost, scrape, publish, share login access, share secure media links, distribute coordinates, create competing products from paid content, or otherwise exploit purchased content outside Angler Advice.
Monthly Subscription Access
When a buyer starts a monthly subscription, the buyer pays for that calendar month and receives access to eligible reports dated within that month. Active paid subscribers continue receiving access for future monthly periods as they are billed. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing and future-period access, but does not automatically refund already unlocked monthly access.
Fishing And Location Risk
Fishing conditions change quickly. Water levels, weather, property boundaries, boating hazards, and regulations can change without notice. Users are responsible for checking local laws, safety conditions, licenses, access rights, and tournament rules before acting on any advice.
Private Property And Water Access
Tips and coordinates do not grant permission to enter private property, restricted water, docks, ramps, marinas, tournament areas, or regulated locations. Users are responsible for confirming legal access, licenses, seasons, limits, boating rules, weather, hazards, and local regulations before acting on any information.
Environmental Conduct
Users should respect waterways, ramps, docks, marinas, neighborhoods, wildlife, fisheries, and natural habitats. Users should avoid littering, damage, excessive disturbance, or conduct that creates safety, conservation, or access problems.
Seller Content
Sellers must own or have permission to upload all text, photos, videos, coordinates, and other content. Sellers may not publish illegal, unsafe, deceptive, harassing, or privacy-invasive material.
Content Ownership And Platform License
Sellers keep ownership of their original photos, videos, text, map points, reports, and other uploaded materials, but grant Angler Advice the rights needed to host, store, stream, process, moderate, protect, market previews of, display to eligible buyers, keep business records for, and operate the marketplace around that content. Purchased access records may remain available after seller account changes where needed to support buyers, records, refunds, disputes, taxes, and compliance.
Account Sharing And Circumvention
Users may not bypass payment controls, avoid platform fees, defeat access controls, abuse signed media links, screen record or redistribute paid videos, use bots or scraping tools, or interfere with the security or performance of the service.
Monitoring And Enforcement
Angler Advice may monitor marketplace activity, remove content, preserve records, restrict accounts, cooperate with lawful requests, or investigate suspected fraud, abuse, safety issues, infringement, platform circumvention, or violations of these terms.
Third Party Links And Services
The service may include links, maps, embeds, payment pages, storage tools, email tools, analytics, or other third party services. Angler Advice is not responsible for third party sites, terms, privacy practices, outages, or failures.
Feedback And Improvement Ideas
If users send ideas, suggestions, requests, or feedback, Angler Advice may use that feedback without obligation to compensate the user or keep the feedback confidential.
De-Identified And Aggregated Data
Angler Advice may create and use de-identified or aggregated data from marketplace activity, searches, purchases, performance, error logs, and content metadata for analytics, safety, operations, and product improvement.
Platform Fees And Payments
The platform may collect a configurable platform fee from paid sales and subscriptions. Prices, taxes, processing fees, refunds, and payouts are tracked in the system and may be adjusted for disputes, fraud prevention, or compliance needs.
Payment Processor Terms
Payments, cards, subscriptions, connected seller accounts, refunds, disputes, and payouts may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider. Users may need to accept that provider terms. Angler Advice does not intentionally store full card numbers on its own servers.
No Guaranteed Results
Advice may improve a buyer’s preparation, but catches, tournament outcomes, guide availability, fish behavior, and weather are not guaranteed.
Termination
We may remove content or restrict access when necessary to protect users, the business, payment partners, or the integrity of the marketplace.
Copyright And Takedowns
Users who believe content infringes a copyright or other intellectual property right may contact Angler Advice with the work claimed, the location of the disputed content, contact information, a good faith statement, and confirmation that the notice is accurate. Angler Advice may remove content, restrict access, preserve records, or terminate repeat infringers when appropriate.
Disclaimers And Liability Limits
Content is provided as general fishing information and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or affected by changing real world conditions. Angler Advice does not guarantee catches, tournament outcomes, business results, uninterrupted service, or error free operation. Users remain responsible for their own decisions, safety, equipment, travel, boating, and compliance.
Indemnification
Users and sellers agree to be responsible for claims, losses, disputes, penalties, fees, or expenses arising from their content, misuse of the service, violation of these terms, violation of law, infringement, unsafe conduct, or attempts to bypass marketplace controls.
Governing Law And Notices
Formal notices should be sent to the contact address provided by Angler Advice. The final production terms should identify the business entity, mailing address, governing law, venue, and required dispute process after attorney review.
